Autumn Jordan is a Hudson Valley-based photographer, documenting weddings and intimate celebrations across New York, New England, and destination weekends workdwide on film and Super8. With 15 years of experience working on film, her work blends a fine art sensibility with a documentary approach, focusing on honest storytelling and intentional composition. Autumn approaches each celebration with care and attention to detail, creating photographs that feel both authentic and enduring.
Autumn graduated from Bennington College with a BFA in Film Photography. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, The Boston Globe, and Elle, and she was recently named a Rangefinder Rising Star of Wedding Photography 2024.

Autumn is an incredible artist, a compassionate guide and (now) a pal. She shot my wedding a few weeks ago and did so with unbelievable grace, candor and fun--at once everywhere she needed to be and nowhere she was in the way.
After booking autumn we had a few calls and then went to meet up with her for an engagement shoot in a beautiful area she knew. Her gift (one of many) is knowing how to conduct a shoot to produce the beautiful photos she takes; never cloying or saccharine, but able to invoke joy and tenderness. She brought the same to our wedding a few weeks later, where she beautifully captured candids of the long night of dancing under Christmas lights and bravely marshaled extended family into portraits. She's easy-going while still clearly on top of things, and actually felt like and old friend in the room while we were getting ready. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer!

Autumn was my wedding photographer and she was so wonderful to work with, one of our favorite parts of our wedding. She took our engagement photos, Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Drinks photos, and Wedding Day photos (with her lovely partner Ash) and it truly felt like a friend was there just snapping pics for us - not only was she taking pics but I also felt like I could lean on her for support amidst some of the wedding day chaos and she was so chill and calm the whole time. It was so fun to have her and Ash there with us. Multiple guests reported to us how much they loved our photographers and how sweet and cool they were!
We got polaroids from earlier in the day waiting for us at our table during the reception which was such a lovely surprise, and we even got a sneak peek of photos just a few days after the wedding, which I know not every photographer does and is such a treat. And the photos themselves are soooo magical and beautiful and natural feeling. We felt so comfortable in front of the camera with Autumn and Ash and they were amazing at hyping us up as well. Oh and Autumn even met up with us for a drink to get to know us before our engagement photos, which is so thoughtful and nice. We love Autumn!!!!!”
