Kristin + Ngoni in Love Forever

When Kristin and Ngoni began planning their wedding, they knew they wanted more than just a single day of celebration. They dreamed of gathering their closest family and friends for an entire wedding weekend in the Catskills, a place that has become a touchstone in their relationship. From quiet getaways in the mountains to spontaneous road trips upstate, the Catskills hold layers of meaning for them. Choosing to marry here felt like an invitation for their guests to step into that story and share the landscape that shaped so much of their love.

They ultimately chose Oz Farm in Saugerties, New York, as the backdrop for their wedding day. The property is one of the most unique and picturesque venues in the region, with panoramic sunset views of the Catskill Mountains, wide-open wildflower fields, and horses who wander the property. The renovated barn, with its soaring ceilings and rustic-meets-modern design, created the perfect space for an evening of dinner, dancing, and heartfelt toasts.

What I loved most about documenting this wedding was the way it felt both deeply personal and wildly joyful. From the couple’s incredible sense of style (their guests were just as chic!) to the tender, tear-filled ceremony, every detail felt intentional and true to them. One of the biggest surprises of the evening was a nostalgic arrival from the Mr. Ding-A-Ling ice cream truck, which pulled up just as the sun dipped behind the mountains, treating guests to cones and popsicles before heading back to the dance floor.

The entire day unfolded with an ease that comes from choosing a venue and location that feels like home. For couples considering an upstate New York wedding or planning to invite guests to spend a weekend in the Catskills, Oz Farm offers the kind of setting that balances nature, comfort, and a touch of magic.
